Hi! My name is Jose J Calderon and I struggled with my weight for years.

My grandpa, son, and I. I was happy to be a new dad, but didn't feel like a man my son could be proud of.
Back in 2006, I was stuck in a terrible rut. I would go to work, then come home and turn on the television. I'd sit on the couch and watched tv for 10 hours or more a day.

I would also eat a ton of junk food because it was easy to get.

The combination of these two things made my weight skyrocket.

During this time, I did try to diet and exercise. But nothing helped because I would quickly go back to my unhealthy ways.

I felt completely hopeless.

Until one day while watching the show "The Real World" on MTV, I realized I was wasting my life on watching other people live their life.

In that moment, I decided to change.

But, I was so out of shape and lazy that my first day was only a trip to the closet to find clothes I could workout in.

On the second day, I made it outside and walked half a block. On the third day, I walked a little more. I continued like this every day until I created that habit.

Walking for exercise was the very first healthy habit I created.

My second habit was to start eating a little bit less. I would leave a little bit of food on my plate each time I ate. Then, I would leave more and more until I was ordering or serving myself less.

Now, I am the man my kids can be proud of.
After having initial success with walking and eating less, I wanted to do more.

​I started my search for other habits that could help me lose the weight faster and found that my years of Studying Psychology in college held some of the answers I was looking for.

I also put myself through Fitness School and became a certified personal trainer.

The combination of these two studies helped me come up with a program for myself that was easy to follow.

and with a few adjustments from my day-to-day experience, I perfected it and lost the weight.

And not just any weight, I lost 32 pounds of Fat and have kept them off for more than 18 years!
